How Fact Lot dates a fact
A fact's date is the day the source page was read, not the day a lease starts and not the day this site was deployed. The read date does not mean the space is still available.
Rent facts that come through Fact Lease keep Fact Lease's read date and the original source host. On the building card, each of those observations prints one line: Fact Lease, observed {date}, from {host}. {date} is the Chicago calendar day of the reading. {host} is the original source host. The words Fact Lease link to that suite on factlease.com. The host links to the original source URL.
Live figures use each record's latest reading within the last 35 days. A calendar month turning over does not remove a figure. A monthly snapshot is published only after the month is complete, and that snapshot is not edited afterward.
