About Fact Lot

Fact Lot is the fact layer for commercial real estate. It publishes facts about commercial buildings, lots and markets: addresses, stated uses, suite areas, asking rents, read dates and the sources behind them. Each fact carries the date it was read and a link to the page that stated it. When a source does not state something, Fact Lot says not stated and leaves the value blank.

Fact Lot does not forecast, model or estimate a missing fact. Coverage is Greater Houston and San Antonio, Texas.

From the founder

I'm Robert Stovall, founder of Fact Lot.

I started this work with Fact Lease, which keeps a dated record of commercial asking rents. The questions people ask about a property go beyond rent, and many answers online have no date and no source.

Fact Lot is my answer to that. When a source stated a fact, the page shows that source and the day it was read. If a source did not say something, the site says not stated. Submissions on the corrections form are stored and reviewed before any change and are never auto-published.
